Christmas Market in Montbéliard
Popular
Description
Each Advent season, Montbéliard transforms into a luminous holiday village. Around the historic Saint-Martin Temple and along the pedestrian streets, dozens of wooden chalets offer handcrafted gifts, regional delicacies, and sweet treats. As dusk falls, 115,000 LED lights arranged in arches, volutes, and facades bring the old town to life with a fairy-tale glow. Between concerts, children’s workshops, and roaming holiday characters like Aunt Airie, the “Lumières de Noël” market embodies the festive spirit of northeastern France, blending tradition, illumination, and community warmth.
