BazaarFinder
Your data. Clearly explained.
This page explains the new BazaarFinder search module. Updated 24 October 2026.
Location, when you choose.
The website requests device location only after you press the location button. Coordinates are sent to this website to calculate nearby results. The module does not keep a visitor location history, and does not forward your precise coordinates to the city lookup provider.
City search and maps.
Common city names are looked up in our local GeoNames database (CC BY 4.0). Other submitted place names may be sent to the Photon geocoding provider, with results cached on our server. The map loads OpenStreetMap tiles only when you select map view. Those services receive ordinary network request information. You can use the list without opening a map.
Saved markets.
Saved markets use your browser’s local storage. They stay on this device and can be removed by pressing the heart again or clearing this site’s browser data. No account is required.
Market information and photos.
OpenStreetMap data is used under ODbL 1.0. Each photograph’s author, source and licence are shown in the market detail. Source collection dates are not independent verification of opening hours.
Hosting and existing services.
GoDaddy and the underlying WordPress installation may maintain technical logs and existing site services. Their settings and retention are managed separately from this module. Questions about your data can be sent to info@bazaarfinder.com.
