Denver Christkindlmarket is announced for 20 November–23 December 2026 at Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus, 1000 Larimer Street. General entry is free. The useful planning detail is the timetable: the final week starts earlier than an ordinary Monday–Thursday, Thanksgiving has reduced hours, and the Festival Hall’s later closing is not an extra hour of shopping at vendor huts.
2026 dates and opening hours
The organiser’s homepage provides the final-week exception as well as the normal pattern. All times below are local to Denver. The FAQ gives the regular weekly schedule but omits that final-week detail.
| Session | Published hours | What it means for a visit |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary Monday–Thursday | 13:00–21:00 | Use the exception below during the final week |
| Friday–Sunday | 11:00–21:00 | Regular weekend pattern |
| 17–23 December | 11:00–21:00 | Homepage lists earlier opening throughout the final week |
| Thanksgiving, 26 November | 11:00–16:00 | Reduced holiday session |
| Festival Hall | Published until 22:00 | Vendor huts close at 21:00; confirm holiday exceptions |
Keep the final-week information attached to its dates instead of changing every weekday to an 11:00 opening. The Thanksgiving session is a separate exception. The published hall closing time should not be used to infer that Thanksgiving continues until 22:00. Check the organiser’s current notice if you want to stay late on that holiday.
Free entry: what needs its own budget?
The official FAQ states that the market is free to attend; food, drinks and purchases are paid for separately. Free general admission does not establish that a workshop, reserved table or other bookable activity is included. Follow the organiser’s own product and reservation links for any extra you want.
Decide whether you want a short browse, food stop or shopping visit before setting your arrival time. If a particular seller matters, leave enough time before the huts close. Ask about materials, packing and carrying fragile purchases rather than assuming every stall offers the same service.
Use Tivoli Quad as the venue reference
The current organiser identifies Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus. Save that name together with 1000 Larimer Street when checking directions. An old photograph or saved listing should not decide your entrance or parking choice. Use the organiser’s travel information and current transit information for the day you intend to travel.
Our Denver Christkindlmarket directory record retains its archive coordinates. That point is a location reference, not a surveyed entrance or proof of the current arrangement of huts. Give your group a meeting point and leave time to return to your starting station, parking area or accommodation.
The market and Mile High Tree finish on different dates
VISIT DENVER’s Holiday Village information lists the Christkindlmarket through 23 December, while the Mile High Tree is scheduled through 31 December. The tree’s published nightly window is 17:00–22:00. A later light-display date does not mean the market stalls reopen after their season ends.
If your trip begins after 23 December, check the specific attraction instead of booking around the phrase “holiday village.” Weather and operational notices can change an outdoor programme. For other destinations, our Christmas-market collection separates each named market’s own season.
